Does a lot of things well. Even better: how about sorting the notes - by title, date saved, size, tags, something! Currently, each folder is a junk drawer - no system, and the more notes you write, the harder it gets to find them later.

The concept is nice but I feel there is something wrong in coding especially in managing files.
I like the app and the idea of writing notes while recording. However I would like to be able to export the audio file to any other format at will, like *.mp3 I hope that will be fixing in one o the updates Thank you
I have use this App for over 4 years and it has been a fantastic part of my research efforts. Its ease of use is its best feature.
Records with time stamped notes. When listening to recording, hold down the key and it goes back an extra 10 seconds so you hear it as you were typing. Great Dont have time to take the notes while the speech is happening, then listen later and add your timestamped notes. Excellent. When you listen to the audio, it follows along with your notes. Jump back any time. Very nice. You can also export the audio and/or notes.
Useful! With the text linked to my audio I can start at specified position, very useful with long recording. I can record and take notes on the iPhone and it sync to a folder on my Mac Book (to archive or further process) this Dropbox sync feature very very useful. Good quality recording on the iPhone too. It is a simple app that anyone recording audio should have!!! Or at least try!!
This easy to use app is a great tool for capturing my learning sessions. I do audio recordings during tutorials and then go back and add text either with the key board or a stylus. I also insert photos and diagrams. The app automatically marks the notes with the running time of the audio so it is easy to find what Im looking for.
Maybe somethings could be improved on to increase accessibility. Audionote could have; a double confirmation to delete notes because I have accidentally deleted items that I was trying to move to a folder, at least 3 different highlighter colours, blue paper for scotopic sensitivity syndrome and Cornell note system would also be a great addition to add extra info after printing.
Great app but useless if you cant create folders to organize files. And the website is pretty useless, cant contact developer.
I will recommend this app to anyone with an iPad. It is the best of its kind. I use it for meetings, lectures and every day to day planning. Glad I got it ,
Use this app all the time. Love the ability to record meetings and lectures. Helps me clarify points of confusion later when notes alone arent sufficient.
Usually when I read these reviews, Im a little skeptical that it may have been written by the app developer, or a friend of the developer. Im a little more trusting of the review, if it has some negativity to it. But honestly, I cant really think of anything negative about this app. It does exactly what I want. Its worth the investment. Period.
Not voice activated, for a paid app this is surprising
Very good application
Its needs a o be optimize for iOS 9 the folder button is not working
I have tried over 20 audio recording apps. None has this killer feature. The recorded audio is synced with the typed or written notes. No need for tags or any other fancy reference system to find the phrase or spoken word you want to listen to. As someone is speaking just jot down notes as you would normally do if you were not recording. Touch any part of your notes and the recording plays back at that exact point. Go back and forth with the new controls, that can speed up or slow down the recording, to review the conversation, lecture, business meeting. 5 stars!!
This app is VERY USEFUL and handy app. Have used it for months now & its works very well. No regrets!
This is the best audio recorder for meetings, lectures and conferences hands down. Ive tried (and purchased) many and always gravitate back to this app for its unique feature of syncing text to audio. That alone is worth 5 stars.
This app would be more versatile if the audio files were playable in other audio formats such as MP3, etc.
Sorry to be so mean, but the new-look AudioNote has lost the one feature that was crucial to me as a journalist - being able to see the microphone recording levels. In the layout I now see on my IOS 9.0 Apple iPad, i can no longer watch the dancing level indicator at the top of the screen. So I have no idea how audible the interviews I have recorded on AudioNote are. It did just that brilliantly for me for the past few years, but now I will cast AudioNote to the recording scrap heap, ever so sadly. Let me know if you ever bring back the level indicator.
